Style Me Something Good! 4 Looks

For the inaugural episode of Today show’s “Style me Something Good” I was honored to work with four viewers, who in their distinct points of life have style challenges. Read on below to see how I matched trend with need and helped each woman achieve a new look of her dreams!

THE NEW MOM: MELISSA

Head-to-toe neutrals are trending as are utilitarian ensembles, both combined with this sleek, one-piece look! I chose a front-zip ensemble for easy breastfeeding for this new mama. Don’t forget the headband, a ubiquitous hair accessory staple for the season that helps keep her long hair back.

Because she is always carrying baby, a necklace that lies flat is safest! Here, a trendy, one-in-all layered necklace or lariat!

While backpacks are one trend, this one is actually a stylish eco-friendly diaper bag made of plastic water bottles, and includes a reusable food tower, once her baby starts eating solids!

The navy sandals are a stacked heel, offering her more stability as she runs about taking care of her newborn.

STYLE OVERHAUL: JULIE

It’s an elegant makeover for Julie, with garden florals, tiered ruffles and a a satiny-silk elegance. Add in neutral sandals that she can pair up with other new outfits – they are so versatile. Pearls are a tremendous trend in jewelry, and I love this contemporary take. Lastly, a beautiful bag in cream or tan—you should be seeing this hobo style everywhere and it’s nice as it has lots of capacity for storage.

It’s knitted, colorful separates for Monica as she returns to work, as they also hug her new body after an amazing weight-loss! She can throw a blazer over it and wear into fall.
